The U.S. Office of Science and Technology Policy is requesting public comments on advancing privacy-enhancing technologies as a national strategy is developed. The strategy will “put forth a vision for responsibly harnessing privacy-preserving data sharing and analytics to benefit individuals and society” and will propose ways to meet that vision, including potential training and education opportunities and development of standards, policies and regulations, the OSTP said. Comments will be accepted until 5 p.m. July 8.
