The open data infrastructure Gaia-X launched this month, Data Economy reports. French Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire said it meets the need “for a secure and European cloud solution.” Gaia-X connects centralized and decentralized infrastructures into one system to strengthen the ability to access and share data securely and confidently. Creating a data space “with data sovereignty and transparency at its core, we can build a solid ground for trust in Europe,” Orange Business Services Trusted Cloud Head Cedric Prevost said.
