The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada released the results of its biannual survey gauging organizations' privacy practices and compliance measures. The survey of 751 businesses revealed 59% of respondents have a privacy notice in place, a 6% drop from the prior survey in 2019. The percentage of companies implementing a majority of privacy compliance requirements also fell from 62% to 57%, while 86% of companies said they know their obligations under Canadian privacy law. Also, 90% of companies have not endured a data breach.
