After T-Mobile settled multiple data breach class-action lawsuits for $350 million, the company needs to do more to protect the data security of Black people, CultureBanx CEO Kori Hale writes in Forbes. She said T-Mobile’s latest breach affecting 53 million people was felt harder in communities of color. Hale cited statistics from the Rand Corporation that Black people were 53% more likely to claim the loss of business was a result of a data breach.
