Roland writes the global regulatory landscape has made it "important for brands to be trustworthy and transparent around consumer data — not only is it the right thing to do, it's also good for business." She added new regulations have made consumers "aware of their data and that it is valuable," while discussing the other areas in which marketers will change under the privacy-first notion.
