In an op-ed for AdExchanger's "Data-Driven Thinking," Senior Editor Allison Schiff writes that privacy changes put forth by the advertising technology industry "pose the larger and more immediate challenge" compared to privacy regulation. Specifically pointing to Apple's upcoming privacy changes, Schiff explained rolling out regulations is a process and allows for advanced planning, while adtech platforms can "flip a switch to make a change," leaving affected individuals and groups scrambling.
