In an op-ed for Mint, Trilegal Partner Rahul Matthan writes about the impacts India faces from the Court of Justice of the European Union's decision on standard contractual clauses. Matthan discussed how India's government surveillance practices impinge on data transfers as SCCs would not be a sufficient mechanism to constitute compliance with the data transfer obligations.
