In an op-ed for MIT Technology Review, Anna Artyushina explains the privacy concerns around the European strategy for data. Artyushina looks at the Trusts Project, an initiative designed to set up a pool of information for organizations to access, as a potentially problematic area. "When put into practice, the EU’s Trusts Project will likely change the privacy landscape on a global scale," writes Artyushina. "Unfortunately, however, this new approach won’t necessarily give European citizens more privacy or control over their information."
