In an op-ed for Forbes, Red Clover Advisors Founder and CEO Jodi Daniels, CIPP/US, writes data privacy is an organization-wide issue that is possible for all companies. “Data privacy doesn’t need to be — and shouldn’t be — arcane knowledge solely held by IT staff. It’s actionable for everyone,” she writes. She recommends businesses have a data strategy, build understandable data policies for customers, give employees the tools they need to be privacy advocates and make privacy a part of their brand.
