In an op-ed for AdExchanger, Chapell & Associates Founder Alan Chapell writes more clarification is needed about the U.K.’s Competition and Market Authority’s oversight of Google’s Privacy Sandbox. He suggested clarity around whether Google’s specific commitments to the CMA will apply worldwide or in certain jurisdictions, and recommended defining specific problems Google plans to address with the Privacy Sandbox, among others. He also suggested the CMA require Google to create an independent entity to manage the Privacy Sandbox.
