In an op-ed for Slate, Tufts Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity Policy Josephine Wolff said passing legislation with clear security and privacy standards for personal data should be at the top of U.S. President-elect Joe Biden’s list. “It’s well past time for the federal government to make some first steps on this issue and help reassure both U.S. consumers and businesses that they are not on their own when it comes to protecting their data,” Wolff wrote.
