The Hill reports at least 20 Texan government entities were impacted by a ransomware attack. The Texas Department of Information Resources said in a statement officials from those agencies have responded to the attack. "Currently, DIR, the Texas Military Department, and the Texas A&M University System’s Cyberresponse and Security Operations Center teams are deploying resources to the most critically impacted jurisdictions. Further resources will be deployed as they are requested,” the statement reads. DIR Press Secretary Elliott Sprehe said the department knows the affected agencies; however, it will not state which have been impacted over security concerns.
