Reuters reports the Obama administration has approved the commercial use of small drones. The Federal Aviation Administration created a new class of rules for drones weighing less than 55 pounds, fly up to 400 feet, and below 100 miles per hour. Drone operators now have the ability to fly the unmanned aircraft without special permission, but must be at least 16 years old. Drones will not be allowed to fly at night, unless they have special lighting and stay at least 5 miles from an airport.
