Stuff reports New Zealand's Ministry of Health plans to consult relevant government entities before helping identify the country's indigenous children who are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The ministry is contemplating whether the release of identities and contact information on Māori children is a privacy violation. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of New Zealand will be among those consulted for a resolution. The Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency plans to file a lawsuit to have the information released.
