UNTV reports the Philippines' National Privacy Commission will allow companies to install work-from-home monitoring software for devices issued to employees. The NPC said the monitoring is allowed under the Data Privacy Act so long as any data processing from its use "falls under any of the criteria for lawful processing under Sections 12 and/or 13 of the law." Meanwhile, the NPC alerted Facebook to potential instances of hacking stemming from fake accounts.
