It’s not long to go now until Privacy Awareness Week (PAW) kicks off here in Australia and there certainly seems to be a lot happening with a heap of events and activities. This year’s theme of Privacy in Your Hands is very relevant to a lot of the stories in this week’s Digest, especially for us as privacy professionals. As influencers of policy, processes and practices, be it at an organisational, state, national or global level, we really do have the power to effect great privacy outcomes — it is in our hands.
