Norway's data protection authority, Datatilsynet, published its annual report for 2020. The report covers the DPA's focuses on COVID-19-related privacy matters, its regulatory sandbox on artificial intelligence and efforts to improve children's privacy. Datatilsynet Director Bjørn Erik Thon said the regulator has "achieved good results" and "used the resources in a good way" over the course of 2020, also noting reprioritization due to COVID-19 was "correct and justifiable."
