The Norwegian data protection authority, Datatilsynet, announced it has received NOK 3 million in government funding to invest in a regulatory sandbox to develop artificial intelligence solutions. The goal of the sandbox is ethical and responsible AI that will be developed according to privacy regulations. “The sandbox will help increase our knowledge of and insight into new innovative solutions, and make it easier to identify potential risks at an early stage,” the DPA said in a statement.
