Telecompaper reports The Norwegian Data Authority has issues with the information on data privacy given to patients using telemedicine. The organization tested six products, finding five of them had no data privacy declaration, while none gave patients an adequate explanation on where their data would be stored, or if patients could delete their data. The Norwegian Data Authority said the telemedicine products are easy to set up, but discovered what happened to patient data after a user registered was difficult. The group found all of the products allowed users to forward their test results via email, with one permitting patients to share their results on social media.
