Music streaming service Spotify is prompting some of its customers to change their passwords as a precaution because it thinks they may have been compromised through a breach at another online service, reports Business Insider. Though Spotify’s records remain secure, there have been numerous breaches of late, and the company says it takes “steps to help our users secure their Spotify accounts when those occur, because many people use the same login and password combination for multiple services.” Meanwhile, PCWorld reports that data stolen in a 2012 breach of Last.fm has turned up online revealing that more than 43 million accounts were affected.
