A workshop on the National Institute of Standards and Technology Privacy Framework will be held Thursday, Jan. 9 in Washington, according to a news release. Cybersecurity Coalition Executive Director Ari Schwartz will moderate a panel of experts and discuss how the framework can guide organizations in managing privacy risks and evolving technology, compliance and policy. NIST is partnering with the Cybersecurity Coalition and Better Identity Coalition to host the workshop, which will also feature NIST’s Naomi Lefkovitz, the Center for Democracy and Technology’s Michelle Richardson, McAfee’s Kent Landfield and Equifax’s Nick Oldham.
