The U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology released new documents concerning its Cybersecurity for the Internet of Things program. The final version of the Profile of the IoT Core Baseline for Consumer IoT Products aims to help identify "cybersecurity capabilities commonly needed for the consumer IoT sector." NIST also issued its summary of feedback from a June 2022 workshop on "specific considerations—and techniques for addressing those considerations—around cybersecurity in IoT products."
