The U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology has announced the creation of Cybersecurity Insights: a NIST blog. The new forum is an expansion of a previous NIST blog but will include posts on privacy engineering, the internet of things, artificial intelligence, small business, cryptography, cybersecurity education, the Cybersecurity Framework, the Privacy Framework and more. "While identity is just as important to us as it always has been, NIST conducts extensive work in the cybersecurity and privacy arenas," NIST wrote in the post. "That portfolio of activities is growing, as is the need for a blog that addresses these varied and ever-evolving fields."
