The Nigeria Data Protection Bureau National Commissioner Vincent Olatunji said his agency is investigating more than 110 companies for potential data breaches, Nairametrics reports. Olatunji said the companies under investigation are in the banking, telecommunications, gaming and online lending sectors, which add a heightened risk of being breached because of “the capabilities of intrusive mobile apps they deploy in rendering their services.”
