Inspired by a question from one of our members, the latest addition to the IAPP Resource Center is a list of introductory-level books for incoming privacy professionals or people just looking to learn more about the field. The IAPP Privacy List came through with lots of great titles, including, not surprisingly, some IAPP-published training books like Building a Privacy Program—A Practitioner’s Guide and the third edition of Privacy Law Fundamentals, published this year. Also included in the list are less operational titles like Alan Westin’s foundational work, Privacy and Freedom, Eli Pariser’s The Filter Bubble and Julia Angwin’s Dragnet Nation.
