The recent Salesforce "State of Marketing" report shows that an increasing number of marketers are using artificial intelligence to connect with customers, ZDNet reports. The report, which surveyed 4,100 marketing leaders worldwide, found that in 2018, 29 percent now use AI, up from 20 percent in 2017. Overall, only 30 percent of those surveyed were satisfied with their ability to balance personalization with privacy, while 51 percent of marketing teams responded they were more aware of the need to strike a balance than they were two years ago.
