Accuracy analytics firm DataDelta, in partnership with identity verification provider Melissa, has released a new tool aimed at easing compliance with Article 17 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, MediaPost reports. DataDelta’s new product, Right to Erasure Risk Audit, will be powered by Melissa’s identity verification tool and is intended to ease granting individuals the right to be forgotten. Ed Allburn, CEO and founding president at DataDelta, explained, “customer records have data quality issues such as misspelled names, low confidence matches are blocked even when they may be correct,” adding “you cannot erase what you cannot find.”
