In New Hampshire, a judge ordered Amazon to disclose Echo recordings made the day a couple was murdered in their home, ArsTechnica reports. Court documents show the prosecution argues there is probable cause to believe there is evidence stored in the Echo, which was seized by police during an initial search of the murder scene. In a similar murder case, which took place in 2017, Amazon previously refused to disclose relevant data but ultimately did comply when both the suspect and the device owner provided consent.
