Results of a recent study from Cisco show consumers have a strong interest in protecting their privacy, TechRepublic reports. The study indicated 86% of consumers "care about data privacy" and want more control, and 79% of consumers are willing to invest time or money to better protect their privacy. The survey also polled consumers on COVID-related changes to the privacy law landscape and 42% of respondents said they would not want any relaxation of privacy laws during the pandemic.
