The New Brunswick government plans to release guidelines for organizations collecting patrons' personal information for contact-tracing purposes during the COVID-19 pandemic, CBC News reports. Department of Health Communications Director Bruce Macfarlane said the guidelines should be expected next week, covering the "collection, security as well as retention and destruction of the contact information under the mandatory order" and recommending "best practices to be implemented to the best of everyone's ability."
