New research shows that banking trojan malware affecting Android devices can phish credentials and automating bank transactions for more than 100 top international banks and 32 virtual currency apps, CyberScoop reports. The malware, known as Gustuff, sends a text message to enable the Android Accessibility function before siphoning funds from a payment software called Automatic Transfer Service. The research explained that in addition to its current version, Gustuff has expanded its list of potential targets to include "users of apps of marketplaces, online stores, payment systems and messengers."
