  • The Netherlands' data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, said it will not fine Tesla over potential violations related to their cars' built-in security cameras. The AP said Tesla changed the Sentry Mode feature to record only when enabled by the user and reduced image storage time. It also noted its investigation determined vehicle owners, not Tesla, are legally responsible for images recorded by their vehicles.
  • The AP also ordered the Ministry of Justice and Security to immediately stop large-scale processing of airline passenger travel data saying the "necessity and proportionality" of the processing "cannot be justified." The AP said, "a large amount of personal data is systematically collected, automatically processed and stored from very many people who do not belong to the group for which the database is actually intended."
