The Network Advertising Initiative’s Vice President for Policy David LeDuc, CIPP/US, said “the time is now for Congress to act on the American Data Privacy and Protection Act.” LeDuc issued a statement following a House committee’s markup of the proposal, saying a “uniform national standard" is needed. The NAI looks forward to working with Congress to ensure the proposal “establishes protections around harmful uses of data while still allowing the valuable innovative uses of data,” he said.
