Nova Scotia government officials are confident more than 600 files downloaded by the Atlantic School of Theology have been destroyed, CBC News reports. An unknown individual downloaded the files from a web portal. The files contained child custody documents, medical data and proprietary business materials. The breach is the largest of its kind to ever occur in the province; however, no information appears to have been shared. "AST has indicated to us that there is a very high probability that the 600 files downloaded there have been contained, and they confirmed that there were no files found on their equipment that were private in nature," Deputy Minister of Internal Services Jeff Conrad said.
