CyberScoop reports Mozilla will be launching its new Firefox Monitor tool, a solution created with help from Security Researcher Troy Hunt. Mozilla partnered with Hunt and will include a service from his site, Have I Been Pwned, allowing users to see if their accounts have been compromised in a data breach. The service will allow users to see what credentials have been affected in an incident. "The site will offer recommendations on what to do in the case of a data breach, and how to help secure all accounts. We are also considering a service to notify people when new breaches include their personal data," Mozilla said in its announcement.
