Mongolian Parliament’s Standing Committee on Innovation and e-Policy recapped its 2021 session during a recent press conference, the UB Post reports. The committee produced five bills on information transparency, protecting personal information, e-signatures, virtual asset service providers and cybersecurity. The personal information law defines terms including personal privacy, sensitive information, controller, processor, genetic and biometric information based on other countries’ standards. The law also regulates the collection, processing and use of human and biometric data.
