Microsoft has launched a new open-source tool mapping ISO's global privacy standard, ISO/IEC 27701, to nine different privacy laws from around the world, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and Brazil’s LGPD. In this post for Privacy Tech, IAPP Research Director Caitlin Fennessy, CIPP/US, talks with some of the creators of the tool to provide a run down of what it offers and how other stakeholders can contribute to its development.
