Microsoft has added a new tool, available to its cloud services subscription members, for implementing internal controls aimed at streamlining data protection compliance efforts, MediaPost reports. Tina Ying announced the new tool in a company blog post, revealing that the service is currently being previewed through Office 365 and Azure Active before expanding to additional Microsoft products. The new tool, called Compliance Manager, summarizes a company’s “compliance posture” against regulatory requirements, such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation, provides recommendations to improve compliance, and enables users to perform risk assessments.
