With the deadline for the EU's General Data Protection Regulation now less than a year away, some of the world's most-established companies are introducing solutions for compliance. Microsoft has outlined some of the steps it is taking and announced a new dashboard that customers can use to assess how their Azure and Office 365 ecosystems line up. In a blog post, Julia White, corporate vice president of Microsoft Azure & Security, said that "later this year we plan to release a new dashboard that provides a quantitative assessment to help identify where you are in your journey to GDPR compliance." Similarly, IBM is integrating GDPR features into its Resilient Incident Response Platform. "GDPR is a big beast and Resilient's lens on this is focused on the privacy breach reporting aspects," said Ted Julian, vice president of product management and co-founder of IBM Resilient.
