Members of the European Parliament asked the Civil Liberties Committee to wait before adopting its stance on U.K. adequacy, Euractiv reports. MEPs Sophie in ‘t Veld and Moritz Körner submitted a request to Civil Liberties Chair Juan Fernando López Aguilar last month, asking the committee to delay its response to the European Commission's draft adequacy decision to analyze the European Data Protection Board's opinion on the matter, which is due to be sent to the committee April 19.
