The fate of the California Privacy Rights Act may be the vote privacy professionals will be locked into on election night, but another ballot initiative in Massachusetts has its own set of privacy implications. Question 1 would require car manufacturers to equip any car that uses telematics systems with an open access data platform starting with model year 2022 vehicles.
