Marriott International will introduce a media network in partnership with Yahoo, The Wall Street Journal reports. The media network is intended to help advertisers target consumers by using Marriott’s data on its customers. The targeted ads would appear in places such as the hotel’s website and potentially TV sets in rooms. The launch of the Marriott Media Network comes as brands and ad vendors seek ways to utilize first-party data from direct consumer interactions to create targeted ads.
