In two court cases New York judges ordered two defendants to receive COVID-19 vaccinations, raising questions of civil liberties and civic responsibility, The New York Times reports. New York Law School Professor and former American Civil Liberties Union president Nadine Strossen said the mandate could be seen as “an abuse of discretion,” while Fordham Law School Louis Stein Chair Bruce Green said it is not an “incredible intrusion into someone’s bodily integrity.”
