Student-tracking software maker Illuminate Education was targeted with a cyberattack, The New York Times reports. The hack breached records belonging to more than 1 million students across several dozen school districts. In some districts the data stolen included names, birthdates, racial or ethnic data, as well as information about tardiness rates and records of behavioral incidents.
