A class-action lawsuit alleges LinkedIn violated U.S. wiretap law and California privacy laws by reading data from Apple users’ clipboards, MediaPost reports. In the complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, New York resident Adam Bauer claims LinkedIn engaged in “a particularly brazen, indefensible privacy violation.” LinkedIn has said it does not store or transmit clipboard comments. The company said it is reviewing Bauer’s complaint.
