VOCM reports Former Liberal Premier Clyde Wells will lead a committee—which will include longtime broadcaster Dough Letto and Former Privacy Commissioner Jennifer Stoddart—to review Newfoundland and Labrador’s access to information laws. “The committee of three have no timelines or restrictions and have been asked to review the act line-by-line,” the report states. NL Premier Tom Marshall has said the final report will be released publically but noted its recommendations will be nonbinding. “He says government will not interfere in the process,” the report states.
