The Labour Party is investigating a data breach affecting the personal information of approximately 3% of its membership, Labourlist reports. The party said its supplier Blackbaud was the victim of a ransomware attack, affecting some members names, email addresses, phone numbers and donation amounts. The party said no sensitive information was compromised. The breach was reported to the Information Commissioner’s Office and the party is working with its legal, data protection and IT teams, and Blackbaud, to gather more information.
