The Court of Justice of the European Union's "Schrems II" ruling has forced companies to pay increased attention to their data transfers. To gauge the lay of the land, Fieldfisher Privacy, Security and Information Partner Phillip Lee, CIPP/E, CIPM, FIP, and his team launched a survey to see how organizations are responding to the CJEU's decision. "'Schrems II' notwithstanding, only a small minority (12%) of respondents indicated that they intend to reduce their non-(European Economic Area)/non-U.K. exports as a result of 'Schrems II,'" Lee writes.
