Juniper Research’s top technology trends report for the upcoming year states concerns about voice assistants will lead to security measures, MediaPost reports. A recent study by Selligent found 45% of consumers use voice assistants and 51% worry the technology is listening without consent. “The developments in voice assistants are expected to allow consumers and vendors to have more confidence about privacy, improve responses from voice assistant speakers and secure the role of voice assistants into the future,” the report states.
