European Commission Vice President for Values and Transparency Věra Jourová and Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders issued a joint statement on the second anniversary of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. "Within two years, these rules have not only shaped the way we deal with our personal data in Europe, but has also become a reference point at global level on privacy," Jourová and Reynders said in the statement.
